LA’s Finest Roleplay Server Rules

The server rules apply to all members of LA’s Finest including staff and MUST be read by all members.


  1. No racism, racial slurs, homophobia, homophobic slurs or any demeaning remarks.

  2. You must have a working PC and microphone to play on our server.

  3. You must be nice to everyone, including staff. This is a video game so there’s no need to argue.

  4. You cannot lie on any application. If found out, your application status will be revoked and you will be blacklisted from applying for 3 weeks.

  5. No political talk out of character unless it directly involves your roleplay and you have permission from the staff team.

  6. Crime RP is okay, but if you only do crime related priorities, you will be kicked or banned.

  7. Making fun or ‘poking fun’ of anyone with a disability is an automatic ban for a week. This includes but not limited to anyone with a speech impairment, physical disability, etc.

In-game Rules

  1. No RDM/MRDM. (Mass) Random Death Match (RDM or MRDM) Is not allowed. That includes being a “serial killer”. Serial killers are not allowed unless you meet the following criteria:

  • Intricate character backstory

  • Character development (i.e. They’re unhappy with the world but someone like the police flip a switch causing the killer to want to punish the world.)

  • Each person you plan on killing grants you permission to kill them

  • You let staff know you’re doing a serial killer rp

  • Use /me and /gme to help aid in the investigation

Any violations to this rule will result in a kick or ban

  1. No VDM/MVDM. VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) is when a person uses their vehicle to kill another person with no intent to roleplay. If you get hit by another player and they stop, you must roleplay the scene out. If they’re roleplaying it, you cannot claim VDM. If you kill a mass amount of people without intention to roleplay (MVDM), you will be banned immediately if found true.

  2. No FRP (Fail Roleplay). Fail Roleplay is when a person fails to roleplay properly. It is usually classified by a player unrealistically interrupting a scene with the intent to troll

  3. If your character physically dies (your health runs out) You are dead unless said otherwise by the person who killed you. If you get shot and your character dies, you must not revive or respawn. Only respawn if there is no EMS online and the cops tell you too.

  4. New Life Rule (NLR). New Life Rule is classified by whether your character dies. If your character dies, you must declare your character dead in cad and spawn in a new character. You cannot go back and revenge kill, say “you killed my brother”, or go back to the scene if you are dead. If you want to claim “you killed my brother”, it must be confirmed by the police.

  5. CAD. You must be in the cad to play on the server. If you are not in the cad, a staff member will assist you in setting up your characters and logging into the civilian portal. Cad is mandatory for all.

  6. Suicide RP is not allowed.

  7. Fear Roleplay (Fear RP) means to value your life. If you are getting robbed, don’t try to get yourself killed. If you don’t follow Fear RP and you die, this server will consider that suicide rp because you got yourself killed intentionally.

  8. /me and /gme commands are to make the roleplay better. /me is for local commands like displaying actions or injuries. /gme is for assisting other peoples rp (i.e. “/gme looks on CCTV what do I find?” in which you would respond if it’s asking for you)

  9. Green Zones, also known as safe zones, are areas where violence and priority roleplay is banned unless said otherwise. We do not have a speed limiter set up for those areas because it hinders pursuits, but shooting and killing in green zones are strictly prohibited.

  10. GTA Driving where you drive unrealistically (i.e. driving up Mount Chiliad in a supercar, or driving 100mph+, getting into a serious car crash and driving off like nothing happened). That is not allowed.

  11. No cop baiting. Cop baiting is where you actively try to get pulled over by the police. In real life, you would try to avoid all police interaction as anything negative will ruin your life. This includes GTA Driving, burnouts in front of cops, etc.

  12. Absolutely no sexual roleplay. That includes, rape rp, sexual assault, sexual abuse, anything about sexual orientation, ect. If any of these happen, you will be permanently banned from LA’s Finest Roleplay.

  13. No roleplay that mimics real life tragedies. Those include: school shootings, hospital shootings, shooting people in crowds, 9/11 roleplay (for those with FAA licenses), suicide bombings, terrorist attacks, etc.

  14. Bank Robberies are strictly enforced. A bank robbery can happen only once every hour. If a bank robbery happens during the hour of cool down, you will get a warning or kick.

  15. META Gaming is prohibited. META Gaming is when your character gets information from an out of character source. If you watch a players stream and you find their location and go to them, that is meta gaming. If you’re in a discord call and someone gives you information there and you decide to use it, that’s meta gaming.

  16. Overreaching RP is not allowed. Some examples are Law Enforcement making up cameras that aren’t there, making up items in a search that the player didn’t state.

  17. Corrupted LEO rp is strictly prohibited for everyone besides department heads and server management (Admin+). Anyone found doing a corrupted RP will be blacklisted from the department.


Dual-Clanning Policy

Dual clanning is when a person plays on a whitelisted job that isn’t on LAFRP. We do not consider playing on other public servers as dual-clanning unless you are in a whitelisted job (meaning you had to apply). Department High Command, Staff and Owners are the only ones affected by this rule.


We do not allow owners, department high command or staff members from other servers to play on LAFRP due to the possibility of those members soliciting other players to join their own server.

Gang/Gang Wars Rules


  1. If a Gang vs Gang war is active, the gang is not to interject on scenes of another gang while they are dealing with the cops. Examples can be waiting for a gang to get done with a traffic stop, camping out near their scene, etc.

  2. To eliminate the misconception and or the possibility of a VDM/RDM if a gang is launching a war against another gang it has to be declared first before the ‘K.O.S’ (kill on site) is allowed.

  3. Areas where it is not RDM/VDM if the Gang is on another gang's territory in a time of war then that gang can start an altercation with them. If a gang is seen on another gang's territory WITHOUT a war then the gang must deliver a warning to leave their territory before taking action.

  4. The Gang Leader and the Second in Command have three characters. Everyone else in the gang has two characters. These characters are not to be played out together UNLESS the storyline permits it to prior to the gang launch.

  5. wGangs are urged to rethink their steps and action if two or more members of their gang died in the same week (i.e truce talks, meeting talks, etc.) The staff of MLRP will not entertain any pleas to keep the gang going after it has been wiped out.

  6. In a situation where an official war has been launched, ‘Green Zones’ become irrelevant if the hit/action needs to be taken. Example, if you have been following a gang member and they enter a green zone, and or you are in a green zone when a rival gang shows up 24/7 and an action must be taken. In other words, this action is ALLOWED once war time is active.

  7. If you are caught farming, selling, and or producing a certain gang drug in or around their territory and you are not part of that gang they are allowed to kill you without any RP, that is not considered RDM/VDM since it is gang related activity that you are taking a part in.

Free Will Removal

LA’s Finest Roleplay is a private server open to the public. We have the right to remove and punish (legally) any member with as much or as little information we want.

The Founders, owners and high staff have the power to remove anyone if we deem them unfit for our server or if they will cause trouble in the present or future, even if they haven’t broken any major rules.


We do not owe anyone an explanation and we do not owe anyone a bad appeal approval.
